Sell it and buy a Glock, Sig, S&W, Beretta, or any other pistol from a better manufacturer than Ruger.

Call Ruger. They will have it fixed and back to you in a week on their dime. Do it.

Is it only when you are racking?

And I have to ask, are you riding the slide, or are you pulling it back all the way, and releasing it and letting it close on its own power.

Try some gun grease. Like tetra gun grease. I use that on all my guns and they run reliably.

I will give it a try and hopefully that will fix it.

Usually very quick turn around. They had my SR45 back to me in 1.5 weeks, on their dime.

                              SR9c

Sorry to hear about problems with SR9c.
I have had mine for about 2 years now, flawless.
I think it is an outstanding pistol, hope you get your's taken care of.
                              Best of luck
