I have a Sig P229 in 357 sig. Its a great round but it can be expensive to shoot. i got a .40 conversion barrel for it to save some money at the range.

I like it a lot. I use the 357 Sig barrels when shooting out of my Glocks and it's accurate and fun.

I was curious about the round and it was a good "discovery" for me. Ammo is kind of expensive though

what gap are you looking to fill exactly ?

the gap of "hard to find ammo" ????

.357sig is a hot round, so is .45gap....do you really need it is my question ?
and if you say yes...why do you think you do ? serious question for you

LOL. That's your litmus test for a good ammo round?

I'm in trouble. I hate Walmart.

Picked up a .357 sig conversion barrel for my G35 recently. Had no experience with the round previously but so far I'm liking the shooting characteristics. Not nearly as much recoil as I expected but you definitely get the sense of sending something "serious" down range. Price seems to be the only real issue with the round -- "over the counter" prices seem to be in the $30-$40 range (at least where I live) and on line somewhere between $20-$30 from what I've seen so far.

A poor or marginal round in hand is better than great round you can not find or affort. I have 357sig barrels for a 226 and a 229. I think it is a great round but have not shot it in years.
