They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

That's Calguns for ya. It wasn't always this way, but it's evolved into this over time. Sad really.

Because people buy them for the expensive asking price, plain and simple.

The internet provides an excellent opportunity for those to profit off the unwary, the impatient or the just plain stupid. I have no explanation for why someone would actually purchase an identical used gun for more than a new one...

There's no such thing as price gouging. Stupidity is simply, in this case, the high marginal cost of time.

I put mine on there today for $475 its about 3 months old. They are $499 new plus tax and DROS. Seems fair to me.

I do love seeing the Gen 4's on there for 800-1000 just blows my mind.

                  Fair price for sure.

I guess some people don't get the idea that a gun once drosed is used. Period. CA market is a little different because of our retarded roster, but still, no one in their right mind will pay retail for a used gun unless they are just stupid or impulse buying.

I am looking for a G30 myself and have had people ask 600 for it. Hell no. I will use my GSSF Blue label and get it for a lot less.

I've never paid more than 600 for any stock Glock and I never will. I wonder what the actual cost of parts/labor is for Glock to make a single pistol. Probably 200 or less? No idea but they make a killing.

Last Glock I bought was a 26 for 475 BNIB before DROS/tax at a gun store.

There is no supply and demand issue for a Glock. They are in every gun store and all over the classifieds here. If we are talking a Gen 4, then sure. Like everything in Commiefornia, the price gets jacked up just because.

                        "Overvalued?"

Value is a function of demand (and buyer's stupidity).

A Glock should cost less than a nail gun.

Why do people think others will pay more than retail price plus tax and DROS for a used hand gun? I think you already know the answer. If I type it out I'll get the ban hammer and I'll be bored at work.

Probably because someone broke it off in them when they originally bought the Glock during a "panic period" and now hey hope to recoup their foolishness.

As far as the buyers? Just recall P.T. Barnum's famous saying.
