my -1 is a round butt with the factory finger-groove wood grips. is this unheard of?

Nice. the M means the firing pin bushing/pin recall was performed.I have a 686-1M its a keeper

I think it's a fair price for one in very good condition, especially if they are the original wood grips.

Hi Guys, I found a SW 686-1 revolver with wooden grips in consignment for $545, it has no lock and the firing pin is on the hammer. Its in very good condition.

Do you think its a fair price? and the serial# is AUU09XX, when do you think it was made?

Please advice.

IMO, $500 is closer to middle ball park price. Maybe high ball park is 550.00

I think the 19s are worth more. At least ive sen them sell higher, but they seem to more scarce, which could be the reason for the higher price tag.
