While I stand by my prior posts about "Safe Action" and similar systems, this guy was more negligent than Chief Drawstring.

Seat Cushion Bill here failed (for quite some time) to inspect/maintain/replace his equipment and continued using a worn out holster until the inevitable happened.

Kudos on the tagging: "Chief Drawstring" and "Seat Cushion Bill"... Too funny.

If you watch the video, he places zero attention on holstering his Glock. Then like a dumbass, he starts jerking on his jacket instead of looking to ensure that it did not become snagged on his weapon or the holster. The incident evidences no more than his casual inattention to handling a firearm.

I've said it before and I'll say again and again.

If you rely on a mechanical safety to stop you from doing something you shouldn't, you probably don't need to be handling a firearm.

We all drive 1 ton missiles. How many of you have a mechanical safety to stop you from doing something you shouldn't?

Firearms require your full attention and respect. When you fail to do either one bad things happen.
