    another caliber ?

I searched a little on it, but still want some opinions. I have 9mm and a 40. Going to be adding another handgun. I was looking into 45 but don't know if I should add a caliber. One idea would be to sell the 40 and start getting 45. Or just stick with 40 and build on that. Or just add another caliber. But that would mean buying and stocking another caliber.

        I think adding another caliber,especially 45 acp, wouldn't hurt.

Multiple calibers are fun. When the next ammo shortage strikes, you'll go to a store and buy whatever is available because you'll have a gun to shoot it.

Once you get a .45, then you will want something fast like a 10mm or .357sig.

I think the opposite way. It's hard for me to justify buying a different gun of the same caliber. I'd keep what you have and get a .45 if I were you.

I agree with this. Why limit yourself during shortage? I would build up to .380,9mm .38/357, .45 . Although I do have a .44 mag/special the ammo is the most costly and during the recent shortage the hardest to find. having sad this, I added a 9mm to my collection to save on plinking cost I would have been doing with the .40 & .45. I did the math and covered the bases.. the 9mm has plenty of bang for the buck ! Just my .02 cents

                        Well, let's see...

If you bought the 45 and not the 40, but the 40 should mean that two 9mms were okay, but maybe instead of a .380; but if it's a 380 than three 10mms wouldn't be out the question, and if some other guy says the 357 Sig might be the way to go too.

                        I vote for a 9x18 Makarov, unless you might want a 7.62X25.

exactly my thought 45acp is a great caliber also I'd suggest a 1911 for a bullet launcher.

During the last panic, 40sw was the only one available.
