You should ask your agency. I am guessing lots of things need to go through the department armorer. You don't want to accidentally shoot a bystander with sights you installed yourself.

          I run the TFO's on my 19 and 26. Here's a pic I took of my 19.

In real life the rears on the Green/Yellow are more yellow and a little dimmer than the camera shows:

Fiber optic for day, tritium for nighttime. Here is one of my G20SF's.

              Heinie Straight 8.

With this set, you do not need to guess which dot is which (is this dot the front dot, or this that dot the front dot). It only goes one way: top dot is the front and lower dot is the rear. You simply cannot do it the other way around (you just won't be able to see the front dot if it's the other way round, it would be blocked).

23 great and well thought out responses to my question. Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I feel like I'm on that waste of time show, "The Bachelor" with so much to choose from.

I prefer GLOCK factory night sights personally. The tubes are made by Meprolight for GLOCK and have a 12yr illumination warranty. The dove tail of the rear sight also seems to fit better than anything aftermarket that I've seen, and I've installed a lot of sights on GLOCKs for Calgunners.

I'm really curious if the ones recommending three dots have ever compared three dots to a blacked out rear.

To me, there is no comparison. Three dots clutter the sight picture and can take away the focus from the front sight.

I also prefer the front sight to be a tritium tube with an orange outline (or similar bright, obvious color).

My last preference is low profile sights. I have some .215 height Warren tacticals and I cannot stand the height at all.

Hackathorn sights fit my criteria perfectly. If you like three dot sights for whatever reason, I would recommend Trijicon HDs. But you are also looking at $80 versus $135+.

XS big dot. You put the dot on the eye and squeeze. The only thing easier would be a red dot.
