Need Night sights recommendation

I have a Glock 30SF for off duty and just switched from a S&W 4566 (dept issued) to a Glock 21SF for on duty. Looking for good night sights for both. Also I like tinkering on small gun projects and would this be something I could install myself? Thanks in advance.

Heinie ledge straight eight and a trijicon HD front sight is my favorite so far been thinking of looking into Warren tactical 1 dot also. I like the 2 dot system because your brain naturally wants to align things and for me is much quicker to acquire than a 3 dot system. Whatever you choose I'd go with the same sights on both and yes you should be able to install them on your own as long as you have the right tools.

Includes the front sight tool and the back uses set screws so no sight pusher is needed. Just tap out the OEM ones (which I assume are plastic) and put these on. Once you confirm the rear is in the right spot, loctite and you're set. Careful, not too tight on the rear bolts - they're very small.

Novak style rear which I like but I'm sure other will be along concerned that you can't be super tacticool like the youtube videos while racking your pistol buy using the rear sights on everything in sight.

I like Trijicon HDs or Ameriglo Spartan Tacticalss.

Fast target acquisition with the bright front sight and blacked out rears.

The Aroteks I posted are Novak-style, but not by Novak. You can install them yourself in a few minutes so you won't be without the pistol at all.

Here's an idea draw a holstered weapon that has a 3 dot and a 2 dot tritium setup when its just dark enough not to see your sights clearly but too much ambient light to use a flashlight. Then see if you have sporadic issues lining up the correct dots.

Lots of very good sight options with a pretty wide price range. I have lots of Glocks and lots of different sights on them, from plan jane 3- dot to latest and greatest. I have Trijicon HD, spartan tactical, Hackathorn, I dot, TFO and others.
The Trijicon HD's are the ones I like the best with the Spartan Tac. Coming in second. But none are bad and all are a improvement over stock.

Yes. A sight tool helps but you can do it with a hammer and punch.
