Well said. I have absolute faith in my used duty weapon. Inspected it myself, then by a gunsmith who agreed, great deal on a hardly used weapon. Operates like new!

Im more worried about a new gun failing me than an old one thats been shot a bit..

its all about inspection and just making sure you look it over before you buy. ive bought plenty of used guns and all have worked well for me

It depends, and I don't buy a lot .. for my carry guns, I'll buy them new then I'll make them well used before I trust it. For a range gun, used is great if I'm getting a great price .. but if I get a hint that the seller is an amateur gunsmith who has discovered where all the engineering teams screwed up and knows just how to fix their errors, I run.
