I own a USP 9mm---two in fact---I am truly sick of the constant references to how bad the trigger is. I find the trigger to be very usable---I have and have owned many pistols and revolvers---DA/SA, DAO, SA, DA/SA revolver, SA revolver, etc.---all different trigger systems---the experienced shooter adapts to the trigger on the gun he is shooting---it's not that complicated.
Now as for your gun shooting left---the rear sight is in a dovetail---it is designed to be drifted in it's dovetail to adjust for the individual by simply being moved a tiny bit to the right to get the pistol to print where you want it---again, not that complicated...

Check sight alignment too

It took me years to shoot my USP 9 properly. You really have to master the trigger press and do a lot of dry firing with a snap cap. That said, the rear sights of my gun would often drift out of alignment, so I'd start grouping left of center. Finally fixed the problem using crazy glue. Even 0.5mm of drift will throw off the shots at 7 yards.
