You are not an operator, thus you can not properly manipulate the weapon to the fullest potential. Because you suck. And we hate you.

In all seriousness it could just be trigger pull and hold.

Good suggestions, I shot the rental usp 9 compact with the lem trigger and my group looked similar to the group 2 posts up. However I was shooting at 15 yards. I rarley shoot under 10 yards. I do have smaller hands so perhaps the gun and I just dont mesh. I think I will try the Lem trigger and see if that makes a diff. As far as weapon manipulation goes, You cant win them all. I could deffinantly defend myself with the weapon at any reasonable distance. My main point is I would like to shoot it as well as everything els in my collection. I have similar consistancy issues with the baretta 92

That is why I went with the compact. I don't have gorilla hands, the fullsize was just too damn big. On the flipside, people say the 92f/M9 has a grip like a 2x4 and it fits my hands fine.

The grip may be shorter, but it’s still just as wide, no?

Anyway, a new gun won’t usually have misaligned sights. A used gun is another story, of course, and the sights may have been “adjusted” by a previous owner to compensate for the pistol’s tendency to shoot left.

I discovered that I have a used P220 like this … after I used it to shoot the Nevada CFP qualification course. I still scored as well as if not slightly better than my testing cohort.

                USPc Overall width 1.14"

The other issue for me was the trigger guard size. I place my left index on the trigger guard. I could not comfortably place my index on the FS USP.

Is anybody going to suggest adjusting the rear sight a bit?

another issue is that I use a high grip and when I rapid fire I constantly flip the safety with my thumb.
