    Usp shooting left

I own and shoot a sig sauer p220 and it is a nail driver, my glock 22 shoots tight groups and my kahr pm9 never dissapoints. However my HK Usp9 shoots left, sometimes low and the groups leave something to be desired. I assume its me and not the gun. I cant figure it out. I have tried using less and more trigger finger. Any suggestions?

Thank you, I love this target and refer to it regularly. Im more interested about why i am able to place shots with every other gun aside from this one. The army teaches soldiers to shoot the baretta with a lot of trigger finger. Does this apply to the usp as well?

Differences in trigger. And you really should only have the tip of your finger on the trigger.

I typically do with the glock and the sig. When i started shooting the usp poorly i lost my consistancy and started looking for a different techique. Perhaps thats it, mabey i should go back to the basics and stay conistant.

I have read on the HK Talk forums that the 9mm version of the USP handguns is not very forgiving when it comes to limp wristing. Although I think that will just cause you to get stovepipes.

I know my USP45c shoots a little low compared to my other handguns. I have never had any problem with it shooting off from my other guns.

Try to rest it on something for support and shoot it

Normally, I would say its you... But I hate USP's so much that I'm certain its the gun!

It's not the gun...It's not you.

IMHO It's the combination of you and that gun.

If you like the USP you should try more than one. It's weird but I have found sometimes it helps. For example...I have owned about 5 different beretta 92's. I found that I shoot my old 1987 92F best compared to all other generations so I sold/traded all the others and stick with my old 92F. That also happens on some of my other gun platforms so I just keep and the ones I shoot well. Lots of options out there. No reason to stick with just one or that particular one you don't shoot well.

You may also want to get the LEM trigger. I hear it makes a big difference.

My USP was fine from 8 yard (well, it was a little left ).
