(or when you say bullets are you talking about the actual bullet component itself?)

Reload. Learn to reload and you can shoot right through this insanity without destroying your bank account. .40 and .45 for not much more.
If you are a moderate to heavy shooter it's the only way to go.

c'mon, thats misleading. those were serge's prices over like a year and half ago. i got in on that deal too. serge's prices now are 260 for 1k, so 1k factory ammo for 269 aint bad...

shipping is the deal breaker.

I ordered some 762X39 last fri, for $228, (shipping brought it to $275), and a friend in reno, said the gun show there, had it for $210.... (on sunday )

Cabelas has 9mm every few days for $0.28 per round no limit plus they have regular coupons for free shipping. Not to mention you get exactly what you pay for. I am stocked up for at least the next 6 months or until prices start to drop further.

LOL. It's not easy, but it's out there. Components are loosening up, been deleting tons of email notifications lately. I think the lesson to be learned whether one reloads or not is to be prepared for the next inevitable panic.

Whatever mechanism that is weighing the bulk pack the at the factory would have to be SERIOUSLY miscalibrated to be off a whole 50 rounds. I'm guessing the disclaimer on SGammo's site is there to cover their butt, and they probably over estimated to have a lil buffer. Hell even when you weigh the box before shipping it out, you would know...

I impulse bought a case as well. It has been awhile since I have seen it under $300 per 1000. The shipping was very reasonable as well.
