    Trigger Job From S&W

I just called S&W to make arrangements to send my wife's M&P40c in to have a trigger job done. They told me they are running about 8 months out and I would have to send it in and it would sit there the whole time. WTF!!! I can't believe that they are still that far behind. I might just have to go with the Apex trigger. I wanted to avoid that because I was told an aftermarket trigger would void the warranty.

I think if you send your gun to the Apex Tactical shop and have them do the work, they'll stand behind it with their personal warranty.

You could call the shop and find out

Go with Apex. You'll end up with a better trigger anyways. Another alternative is Dan Burwell.

I'll have to look into that. I'm not opposed to doing it myself I just don't want to void the factory warranty.

Apex has a fix for Sigmas, but I don't know how good it is.

I second Dan Burwell. He did the trigger on M&P Prof and it is a huge improvement. It also keeps it in SSP for IDPA.

Just replace the factory striker block and spring with the one from Apex. You'll be surprised how much of a difference it makes. Its an easy DIY job.

Hm, not sure what your point is. We are having a friendly conversation about how far behind S&W is and some alternatives. You offer up a name so I ask for contact info. I'm not lazy. If no one have offered the info I'm sure I would have found it. I don't need a condescending lesson on how to use google. Perhaps when you mentioned his name in your earlier post you could have included his contact info. Which you still didn't do.

The day I picked up my M&P40 FS, I was running some snap caps through it getting a feel for the gun and the (of all things) trigger stopped working. Had to send it back to S&W for repair. So you can understand that I might be a little apprehensive about messing with the warranty.

Do you mean it wouldn't move or it wouldn't reset?
What was wrong with it, how did they correct it?

They likely replaced the sear plunger pin spring; they could have just sent you a new Sear Block

Dude, I was on my phone on each of those prior posts. You could look up his contact info faster on your PC than I could have googled, copied, and pasted from my phone. Only mild ribbing from me. Don't be so sensitive.

So I'm guessing you didn't even hit the contact link from google that would provide info on how to contact him?
