    Grabagun.com

Bought a new Walther P99as 9mm, kinda.......Too good to be true, right. Not, I called and confirmed they had it in stock and surely they did. I bought it right then and there. Super excited! This was 11/1/13, set up my ffl to ship to and the waiting game started. A week goes by, no update. I decided to email, and was told my order should ship that day or next......no update. Monday rolls around still nothing. I decided to call today, and exactly what I did not want to hear is what he told me......there might have been a mix up. He said they did not have it in stock and was sorry for the mix up, but I already bought mags, ammo........for a gun that I thought would have been in my hands by now. He tells me not to worry hes going to "special order" one just for me. This is not a glock or a sig, that can just be special ordered.....what do I do? Should I give them the benefit of doubt? I'm really pissed at the moment.

That makes me nervous about ordering an AR they "have in stock" that I can't find anywhere else.

had the same thing happen to me at Duckcreek Armory.... Waited 5 months for a shotgun then I switched it to a XD45 Compact in OD that they had "in stock" the guy said he was holding it in his hand and said it will go out in 3 days or so... almost 8 days go by and I get an email saying they're out of stock on my gun and expect it within 45 days... I was pissed but figured I will just deal with it... after 45 days still no gun I called to give the manager a piece of my mind about the whole situation and his answer was oh he must have made a mistake we have not had any XD45 compacts in almost a year... So I was like your guys are professional liars or you have stupid people working there because he said he was holding the damn thing in his hand... I just got a refund and bought it on gunbroker and will never shop at Duckcreek Armory again. I would see if you can get it someplace else

Grabagun has always been good to go, so I'd give them the benefit of doubt, but as with anything that is special ordered, it could take months.

Think about it this way, eventually you are going to get the gun you want so you are just buying the accessories ahead of time.

+1. Several transactions with Grabagun on items I couldn't find anywhere else in stock.

Hmmmmm. Well.... Now I remember a few months ago I ordered an AR from them that was showing in stock. A day after successfully checking out, I got an email from them saying,
"Sorry, the item is not in stock". But other than that incident, no other problems.... And again, in my case, they contacted me the next day.

I have read nothing but good stuff about grabagun, so I was comfortable with my order. Every point of contact has been pleasant, but this mornings phone call caught me off guard. What is really pissing me off more than anything else, is that I could have bought one from another company which obviously is not available anymore.

Grabagun has been wonderful to me, i've had a similar experience like yours, i was attempting to order a Cz tactical sport over a weekend, however on a monday they notified me that it wasn't fullfilled because of their inventory wasn't updated over the weekend. Thankfully they refunded me within 3 days. I'd order from them again in a heartbeat.

I've used Grabagun quite a bit (couple guns, couple optics, several accessories)... Always been a good source and exceptional prices.

I did have a recent snafu however... they had Troy FDE F&R flip-up sights at a really, REALLY good price... I ordered and got an email (or call, I don't remember), that the rear was out of stock... I cancelled the order and got 'em elsewhere - but within a couple days they were listed as in stock (at a higher price - basically comparable to everyone else). I figured when they went to fill the order they realized the price was wrong - so just told me OOS, then listed it at the correct price.

I could be wrong about my suspicion above - and if so, then I think they might be getting too big for their britches... with success comes growth - sometimes too much for small operations to handle... I like Grabagun and hope they keep up with their growth.

Wait, you can order a Walther P99AS from Grabagun.com? Why didn't I think of this earlier...

Best of luck to you, OP.
