Why this so addicting??

So i started out the year with zero weapons.Now within the last 3 months i have
a Benelli m3 s90, Daniel Defense custom ar-15, Savage .308 bolt rifle, S&W 629-4 , HK45 in jail and i an already looking for my next buy. What gives ??? i can't stop looking for guns to buy.
Does it ever stop or at least slow down ???

I think i'm even getting the junkies twitch when i'm not looking at guns/rifles

Stop buying, you have enough. Now start to learn reloading and how to buy bulk reloading supplies on sale. Join the NRA and Cal guns foundation so you may keep the guns you own.

that was me last year... it has slowed down a bit, especially since I got my unicorn - Dan Wesson Valor...

But your HK45 has always tempted me, even though I've bought & sold a HK45c & HK45... kinda of have seller's remorse...

It's just your basic collector/hoarder pathology. On a psychological level, it's really no different than collecting anything else. This is why I myself have been trying to sell of things I don't use at the range, or own to merely collect. It's really not very healthy, and it's not kind on the wallet.

Im trying to subscribe to this philosophy as well. I've been shooting for years with friends but only started purchasing my own firearms this year with concentration on home defense. So far all I have are pistols and a shotgun, but I've been tempted to get a rifle at some point, namely an HK MR762. The problem with that is I'm having trouble justifying spending thousands of dollars on what will be a glorified range toy.

Get a good hangun, rifle, and shotgun, then focus your addictive center on hoarding ammo for the firearms that you have. It's no less expensive but it's better than collecting more guns that you cannot use.
