        Post pics of this mod. When drawn from the holster, can it be readlily dis-engaged like a 1911 saftey? Same ergonomics?

        I have doubts that this will function will the same smooth drawstroke...please advise.

          Mace, you'll just have to try mine some time. Yes it can ride under your thumb, better than a stock 1911 does.
