Decock the same way as a revolver. Just make sure to point the gun in a safe direction.

how does a da/sa pistol work w/o a decocker?

Obviously not familiar with the hammer on all semi-autos but the hammer on my GP-100 seems much more suited to being manually let down than say the hammer on my M9A1.
Not familiar with the CZ52 but on my M9A1 the firing pin is rotated out of the way before the decocking occurs so I don't see that failing. At the same time it doesn't keep me from keeping the gun pointed in a safe direction (which it should be at all times regardless of what you are doing with it)Comment

You'd have to lower the hammer manually,a practice the late great Jeff Cooper disagreed with regarding the 1911-and I share his stance.I'm shamed to say this is a lesson I learned the hard way with a 1980s vintage Taurus PT99.Like the CZ ,it features a da/sa action and my older pistol didn't have the decockers new ones have.I carried it C&L without trouble until I was about to purchase a 92FS,so I wanted go get used to the DA first pull.I lowered the hammer just a touch to quick and a loud bang immediately followed.
If you manually decock a SA gun, you'll notice minute dents in the loaded rounds primer from the "gentle" impact of the FP.
Treat the CZ75 and other SA non decocker guns like the 1911,and sin no more. The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be.
The more subsidies you have, the less self reliant people will be.

This is true, Roland. Great series, btw.
The hammer on my 92fs has a bit less room to play with, but it is still very manageable if you are careful. Now, with sweaty/bloody hands in a time of action, I am not sure I would want to be doing this.Don't forget to shop at Amazon through Shop42a.com. Safest way to decock an automatic is to use two hands. One hand to pull the trigger and control the hammer. The other hand to put your thumb "at hazard" to stop the hammer if your thumb slips off as you decock.
Another approach, which comes out of the Soviet manual of arms for the Tokarev and works with most guns, is to press your support hand thumb against the side or front of the hammer. If your firing hand thumb slips off the hammer that will slow the hammer down and prevent it from delivering a hard enough blow to the firing pin to fire the round in the chamber.
Practice with an empty gun and it soon becomes just part of day-to-day gun handling and not something that seems inordinately risky.RSM

One handed decocking is not the safest way. For a righty, grip the hammer firmly between your LEFT thumb and index finger. Pull the trigger with your right hand. Slowly lower the hammer.
I've done this probably more than a thousand times practicing for USPSA competition with my SP01 Shadow. Why do we keep letting history repeat itself?....

Decocker?? Thumb?
I go with the (depending on gun) left thumb blocking hammer, right thumb on hammer, pull trigger and release hammer, release trigger to bring up firing pin block in some guns, lower hammer completely....Comment

LOL
Ummm no... Sorry I don't carry a non safety equiped revolver cocked
Maybe the movies you watch have alot of people doing it but...I would be fairly comfortable with a decocker but would still observe safety guidlines as far as keeping it aimed away from people and such.
