After a few hundred break-in rounds, my TLE now runs like a champ. It loves Wilson 47D mags, though I have recently bought a few new Tripp mags and they work excellent as well (so far...) in all my 1911's.

I read the articles several years ago about the LAPD SWAT and the other LE agency in Washington that tested it. I was impressed. Twice I ran about 1300-1400 rounds through it without cleaning it, just to try and get it to fail...never happened. Some people like 'em and some don't.
Forgot to add...I only use the Les Baer mags, not that any other brand isn't good, I just learned to buy those. A little pricey, buy they're great!

Nope, not connected with a gun shop. I'm usually on the other side of these issues. I shop by price first so usually I end up buying online.

Your first post said "even if you're ordering online....." the guy should just drop by a local shop. When you have no intention of buying the item from that store. I would consider it rude to waste the employee's time and expect them to risk minor cosmetic damage or wear to the firearm. Not sure how that turns into " you have to buy something every time you look at a firearm in a gun shop".

I try to suppport/ buy from the local gun store when ever possible, so according to what you say, everytime you go into a gun shop and if you want to look at any firearm inside the case, you must buy it. If PDR79 buys online and doesn't like or have a second thought about what he bought, that's a $700 mistake which could be prevented if he went to his local shop and held a few pieces.

Do you own or work for a shop??
