Interesting. I'm pretty OCD about cleaning my gun after every use. Sucks too because i spend over an hour after every trip cleaning lol but i like squeaky clean guns. I guess 100k is pretty excessive. I just always liked to think that with proper care a gun should last forever. I guess that was just too wishful thinking lol
