A lot of people say this is bull every time it comes up, so you can decide yourself.

My CCW training instructor and a 2nd trainer recommended that any gun used for SD/HD should be bone stock. If there's legal action against you, having made modifications to your gun can be twisted to make you look eager to shoot someone.

The opposition says this could never happen. Your choice.

IMO just do a $0.25 trigger job and sharpen/polish the brake angle then done. 4.5-5lb consistent pull.

I have the Ghost trigger connector on my carry glock 26. It gives a lighter pull and a snappier reset. I just bought one for my Glock 19 which will replace my G26 as my carry gun. I don't buy into all of the crap about it. Keep your finger off the damn trigger and you won't have any problems.

I like my 19 with the 3.5 pound connector and the polish job. Have never had a double tap that I did not ask for. Keep your booger hook off the bang switch and you will be fine.

I have found the "click" isn't as pronounced when using the 3.5 connector. I prefer stock. During an active shooter situation, you won't feel the difference.

What ever mod you do to your trigger I would stick to factory parts unless its a gun dedicated for games.

Guy in that video is pretty high strung. Still, scary thought. I might just leave mine alone. Ill talk to Glock and see what they think about alluring the gun with their factory - connector. I doubt there would be an issue, but if it requires any "special attention" to one part or another when installing i think I'll just leave it alone.

Guy in the video was an ego driven douche bag. He told someone not to do something at some point and they didn't listen to him, so now, anyone that modifies their Glock is "putting buck rogers #$@# on it". What a clown.

Every Glock that I have seen malfunction (other than a limp wrist) has had some modifications to the firing control components. I have never seen a Glock with stock internals malfunction (I own 2 Glocks and shoot in USPSA).

Its your gun so do what you want. Just make sure you thoroughly test your gun after any modifications.

No issues with my stock (except for the TFO sights)G34. Very accurate and the pull was easy to get used to.

I've never even heard of that happening on any gun, much less a Glock. Any pics? What exactly happened? Did you oil the gun regularly? Perhaps you just got a lemon? I'm very curious for obvious reasons.
The gun was not a lemon, it just sheared the barrel lug off after 125,000 rounds right where it contacts the locking block. I never heard of it either until it happened. I was running 230 grs at about 850fps. I shoot competition every weekend, sometimes 2 matches. Yea, I know how to oil a Glock, only been running them since 1992. Glock gave me a new barrel, that's all. I have also cracked 2 G17 slides, one G17 blown out breech face, had a broken slide retainer spring, chipped extractor, broken trigger reset springs, broken slide stop springs, worn out striker (tip) on various Glocks. Shoot 15,000-20,000 rounds a year, and stuff happens.

almost forgot, had a case rupture on a G34, blew the mag apart and blew out the mag catch.

That's a Lot of use. I was just curious on the oiling because A lot of people treat their Glock like an impervious tank, and others like to " torture test" them to see with their own eyes Howe much abuse they can take. I hear a lot of people brag about how they run their Glock dry. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a connection there. But yea, you do run a lot of rounds. Sounds like you should be running a 1911 with that kind of heavy use lol

1911's won't go anywhere near the round count of a Glock. They beat the frame to death from slide recoil at about 50K. Besides I ran 1911's from 1968 thru about 1994. I actually oil my Glocks after every match, but only clean the barrel bore, no detail strip. Glocks can run clean and oily, dirty and oily, but not very long dry, either dirty or clean. This is my G34 after about 10,000 rounds, still no detail strip, dirty but nice and oily...
