Shot my M&P for the first time on Sunday. 200 rounds and only had one FTS (more on that later).
The trigger isn't as mushy as I expected, but I did catch the "ghost" reset a few times. I think a phone call to Apex will solve the trigger problems but I wanted to at least get rounds through the gun first - and I'll probably shoot more before adding anything.
Dot Drill

I started the Dot drill at 3 yards and shot it twice today.
First time I scored 47/50, second time 49/50. I'm glad i improved throughout the morning but I threw all rounds on the same drill. The last 2 dots "draw, fire 1 on 9, speed reload, fire 1 on 10 (x3)" and more specifically, the #10 dot. I need to slow down and make sure I find my front sight after reloading.
First run on left, second run on right.

Did some other shooting with rifles. insert typical stuff here.

And now, the FTS. yes, that stands for Failure to Sight.

a closer look:

When i realized the white dot popped out (somewhere in the first 10 rounds of the day) i looked around for 2-3 seconds before thinking "what is the point of looking". spend the other ~190 rounds and the rest of the day with no front sight. could be worse, but now i'm prompted to either use a white paint pen to fill it in, OR just buy new sights.
Oh, I also got a first round hit with the M&P on a 2' steel plate at ~200 yards
