Lets talk about accurate 9mm's!!!

So, after watching Handguns on TV about target pistols... I got an itch for a target pistol... DUMB SHOW!!!

I was very interested in a .45acp 1911 that guaranteed like 2 inch groups at 50 yards, however I am fully invested in 9mm.

I am going to start some research on the most accurate 9mm pistols, hell I may even put like a four power scope on it. So, while I do some research, I think we should talk about accurate 9mm's. I have a Glock 17, but that trigger has to be the weakest link.

I like the idea of a accurized 9mm 1911, however I read a lot about 9mm 1911's having reliability problems.

They make aftermarket triggers for Glocks that are amazing, I forgot the brand name, but remember they were really expensive, maybe $200-$300 for a drop in trigger.

As far as accuracy, most of today's 9mm's are more accurate than the shooter, but as you mentioned a scope, I'm thinking the CZ SP-01 is about the most accurate out of the box 9mm I know of. They do make target 9mm's which cost a lot more than run of the mill 9mm pistol.

Hmmm... P210. I knew I don't have the money for a pistol now... but at an MSRP of $2100 I really dont have the bones haha.

Who has one? The trigger seems funky, although the grip looks semi comfortable... I would want to add a hogue like knuckle ridge grip thing to it.

I did inherit a Colt Detective Match Model .38. I have no idea if its still "match" accurate... but that may be my best $/accuracy bet for now.

I have ALWAYS wanted a CZ... but are they 2" at fifty yards accurate?

By the way I believe the 1911 I saw was a Les Baer.

Do they guarantee that in 9mm? In 9mm I like czs. They are very accurate guns for the money. My cz75 sa and my sp-01 shadow shoot like a lasers if I do my part. With good ammo they shoot around 2" at 25yards.

No, the Les Baer 2" guarantee was for a 45acp

^This. Why not just get a BHP? If you're getting a 1911, get it in .45 ACP, the way JMB intended.
