[Bug Splat]

I turned mine into a single action only pistol and could not be happier. The length of pull is no longer than a 1911. The OEM wood grips make the pistol feel much bigger than it really is. I'd suggest getting some thin aluminum grips and shooting a few boxes. The pistol really is not that big. I did a full write up on the size. Let me dig it up for you.....

How do you get a round chambered and end up in the fully uncocked position?

I'm sure you know how that's done but are actually voicing your angst with condition 2.

You point the weapon in a safe direction, grasp the hammer firmly, pull the trigger, gently let the hammer come to rest in the fully uncocked position and then release the trigger.
