I bailed her out of jail today. It's actually my wife's, but after handling her some I have to get one myself. If the xd doesn't have a top 3 trigger (polymer guns) I would be really surprised. The trigger is sweeeeet. Heres a couple pictures. I know I know, seen one seen them all. Just figured I would do it for the heck of it. I picked up some guard dog? SD ammo. I have never seen anything like it. It looks like a FMJ round. I guess it has gel in it? And it expands. The only .40 ammo I could find so I bought it. After paying $31 for 20rds, I swear I felt like I got raped.
The only thing I found I didnt like on the xd is the slickness of the grip. I think I will put some grip tape on it or something for my wife. I never thought I'd say this, but I really do like the extra safety features of this gun. None of them get in the way, and I can tell if there is a round in the chamber, or if it is just engaged. The holster it came with was a nice addition. It is a little tight even when loosened but it works well. I still cant figure out how to use the mag loader
Mag pouch is a cool addition as well. Bought the weapon for $590 OTD. This is now my favorite handgun, Move over m&p!!!! The way it points, feels so natural. Every time I draw, the sights are right on. I can't wait to shoot it, but I cant find any ammo!!!!!
