Until I can go into any Walmart at any time and buy .22lr, 9mm, or .223/5.56, the panic is not over.

panic is still slowing, but then you have those that learned to engage their hording instincts, so it seems as though we're still in a drought.

Only way is to react fast on a deal, or go early and check often. Otherwise, you'll be like the rest of us and shoot sparingly

It will be over when you can buy bulk again without getting a loan. My guy says by this fall things should be better.

In the last three weeks, I have scored over 2k rounds of .22 for nearly per panic prices. It's out there if you're willing to search and are patient.

I remember when ammo was scarce after the 2008 election. Walmart didn't have a steady supply until the spring/summer of 2010. Based on that, I predict that prices won't be normal until the spring/summer of 2014.
