    Pick my next Glock...

So I already have a G17 and it conceals ok. One Glock is never enough so I'm considering another and figure I should check out the smaller options. Leaning towards the G26 since I can always add a Pearce grip extension.

I voted G19. It mostly depends on your build & how you carry. I have found no benefit to the G26 vs G19 as far as IWB/AIWB concealment goes, but everyone is different. With the G19, I can get a more consistent grip/draw from concealment, and it's easier to control and transition during rapid fire. I have 3 GEN 4 9's (17/19/34), but I may add the 26 just to complete the GEN 4 9 family.

          ETA:
That being said, the GEN 4 G17 is my favorite.

I'm sticking to 9MM for now since I already have plenty of that and am trying to not ad another caliber to the list of what I need to horde. That said I might still pickup a larger caliber Glock w/ a 9MM conversion barrel so the form factor is all I'm really looking at.

I love my G17 as well but it just seems to print a little too much (not that I get to carry often) so I'm looking at the smaller options. I'm 5'10" 160lbs and am carrying IWB at about the 4 o'clock position.

Have you held the G26? It's rather different from the others, even with the extension. The G19 fits like a glove. It could very well be the perfect gun.

the G17, G19 and G26 are my favorite Glocks. imho, between the G19 and G26, the G26 lends itself to concealed carry the best. from a quick draw, the G19 would get my vote. regardless of what you choose to pick up, you'll be getting a fine combat handgun.

I've held G26s at my LGS here and there but never fired one. Have also never held one with a grip extension. That said the G26 is certainly not the most comfortable weapon I've held and definitely appreciate the grip of the G19 or my G17 more.

I figure there will always be a trade-off between comfort and concealability though right? And I already have a comfortable full-size HD weapon with my G17.

At the end of the day I'll most likely add both a G19 and G26 to my collection just trying to decide which to get first

they are both great stablemates to your G17.

I used to run an MTAC @ 4:30ish, and for some crazy reason, my GEN 3 G26 printed worse there than any of my other Glocks (including my GEN 4 G21), so I sold it. It did carry pretty nicely @ 3:00, but I didn't care for that position on the belt. I'm a fairly big guy (6', 230lbs), so I know that makes a difference.

Being as slim as I assume you are, I would look into appendix carry. I've had just about every kind of IWB/AIWB holster out there, and my JM Custom Kydex AIWB holster conceals the G17 better than ANY holster I have ever used. I also like having the control and personal view of where the gun is at all times. It's way easier to see/check if you're printing, and the draw/press-out from AIWB is awesome. There is some inherent risk in carrying AIWB (muzzle pointed at femoral artery), but nothing will go south if you train & do your part.

I would say get a G26 for carry purposes. Use a G26 mag with a pinky extension and also carry G17 preban 17rd mags if you have them as reserve mags.
