I voted for the G26. I like to keep my carry piece as light and compact as possible.

I held a G26 at my local gun shop and didn't like the feel at all.
I've shot the G19 and it feels very nice. My wife will be getting one shortly. I may get one eventually.
But I bought a G30 and it conceals great. Nothing like dental work in a sweat shirt with a 45 keeping me company
I have it IWB at about 3:00. I'm still working on the "best" position for me for comfort. I'm only 6'1" @ 190lbs.

Right here is the best answer. AC is pretty comfortable once you get used to it, and more secure. "Printing" becomes a non-issue..Arguably quicker from holster to target than with traditional side carry (for IWB).I used to run an MTAC @ 4:30ish, and for some crazy reason, my GEN 3 G26 printed worse there than any of my other Glocks (including my GEN 4 G21), so I sold it. It did carry pretty nicely @ 3:00, but I didn't care for that position on the belt. I'm a fairly big guy (6', 230lbs), so I know that makes a difference.
Being as slim as I assume you are, I would look into appendix carry. I've had just about every kind of IWB/AIWB holster out there, and my JM Custom Kydex AIWB holster conceals the G17 better than ANY holster I have ever used. I also like having the control and personal view of where the gun is at all times. It's way easier to see/check if you're printing, and the draw/press-out from AIWB is awesome. There is some inherent risk in carrying AIWB (muzzle pointed at femoral artery), but nothing will go south if you train & do your part.Last edited by Squidward; 01-13-2013, 8:46 PM.Comment

I prefer the 19 but since you already have the 17 you might as well get the baby. I voted 26.
The 17 and 19 feel similar when shooting. The 26 is feels different. The shorter grip positions the gun such that it might even improve the grip angle for some shooters.
But if you can...try before you buy. You might love it but you might alo hate it!Comment

The G26 has a well documented history of accuracy, so yes, it CAN be shot as accurately or even more accurately than it's big brothers. That ofcourse is during slow-fire at a static range.
All that goes out the window when drawing from concealment & shooting rapid fire drills, transitioning from target to target, on the move. I'm not saying that it's impossible to run a G26 well in that context, it's just a lot harder for each shooter to consistently run a G26 as well as they can run a G19. First shot accuracy is all fine & dandy, but fast & accurate follow up shots will most likely be needed & there may be more than one threat.Comment
