had a g26 and sold it to get a g19. Went from hating how the gun felt in my hand to loving it with the g19. Get the 19, you won't regret it.

G19 best of both worlds when compared to a 26 and a full size 17."1911 mag, twinkie, twinkie, cupcake, primary weapon mag"

What about a G26 with a sleeve for a G17/19 mag?

Well said.Originally posted by Roland DeschainOne Glock is never enough...
I'd say the opposite, be sure to have all in 9mm so you can use a G17 mag (you already have this) as your backup mag and benefit from the extra capacity.
I personally have a 17 and a 26 and STILL want the 19 to complete my collection of home defense/carry guns. It's good to know that I can stick a G17 mag into my 26 or future 19 and know it will fire.Last edited by lewisracing; 01-14-2013, 2:23 PM.

I started with a G17 rtf. Next was a 26 then a 30. not a fan of sw40. If you are the type of person that needs a mag extension for a G26 then get a 19 and be done with it. Personally I enjoy shooting the the G26 the most but that's only because. 45 costs more.
If youhave never done so rent a G30 and see what you think. I know what ur saying about getting znother 9mm and not adding another caliber but I wouldnt be satisfied with my handgun collection if all I had were 9mm's.

G19....Comment

My first Glock was a G19, then I got a G26 for future carry. I have small/medium-sized hands and can shoot the G26 almost as well as the G19, but it is slightly more difficult to shoot for me. And if I ever had to draw under pressure, the shorter grip on the G26 would have to be a disadvantage, although probably only a slight one.
I recently got a Blade-Tech Eclipse holster that makes the G19 as concealable on my small frame as the G26, under an untucked polo or Hawaiian shirt, and ended up getting a second G19 to use as a dedicated carry gun with the original G19 to be used as the range beater gun.
So while I don't regret buying the G26 and won't get rid of it, it doesn't offer any real advantage over the G19.Julian

Know you're leaning towards the 19/26, but let me throw a curve and make sure you've considered the 34 as well.
Trick it out and shoot a little IDPA/USPSA... "Dude... Now that was a blast!!!"
