I've had success just browsing for ammo online. I don't bother trying in stores because its all way overpriced or all sold out. Unless you're looking for 9mm, .45 acp, .223/5.56, or .308, there's plenty of ammo out there.

i'm in north county SD too.
try the gunshop off the 78 in Vista...they had .22LR and .45 ACP last i went there.

Fast answers, fast shipping. It comes in packed in I think bags of 50. Shoots clean and reliably. Brass casings, FMJ ball ammo. Perfect for range days, and way cheaper than what most ranges/stores charge.

Buy in bulk with friends and make a run to go pick it up to save on shipping. The guy's a stand-up dealer.

A friend in AZ told me that Walmarts in AZ are still stocked, to the hilt.

Shipping from AZ should not be as pricey as buying here, if you know someone.

Which Turner's and what 'ammo? There's ample supply of .45 ACP and 12 gauge shells if you're looking for those; prices aren't so hot on the .45 though...

Can't get primers either. Those have been hoarded too, brother.

Only the Small Pistol / Small Rifle. There are plenty of Large Pistol primers to be had. That's why I am shooting mostly 45 ACP lately.

Try the Shootin' Shack in Elk Grove. They can still get some "Speer lawman" ammo in bulk!

It's been pretty bad. Wally, Turners, etc. BUT, I picked up 4 boxes of Blazer 9mm at my LGS today. They seem to have a decent supply for now.
