    Ammunition...like gold...

Went to 4 different walmarts, and turners...ammo is gone! I dont even want to go to the range because I would be using up all my private stock....which aint much! I'm so effing depressed. Mabe I should break out the bb gun to practice. Anyone have a guesstimate when ammo will be on the shelves again? Hurting in North County S.D..

Any indoor ranges in your area?

Most indoor ranges sell ammo, both factory and reloads. I call up before leaving the house to check their stock, and I'll shoot whatever they have.

Better to use up theirs than mine. Pet peeve: when i used to take people shooting, they'll empty the mags as fast as they can pull the trigger. Meanwhile, I'm thinking that's $4-5/mag. More if it's .308.

Walmarts are kinda hit or miss. You might want to say what what caliber(s) you are looking for in case anyone nearby has seen any.

My local Walmart gets their ammo out at 6:00 in the morning...

...and the guys waiting for it to hit the shelves buy it all.

Haven't seen a .22LR on the shelf in two weeks

I have even started collecting .22 WMR and .22 shorts just to keep my addiction at bay (and I don't even have a .22 WMR gun).

Im sticking with .22 for awhile myself. Deals on ammo can be found but they do go quick. You almost need to goto all the websites you normally get ammo at and be put on their list when it comes in. That's what I have been doing even before this mess.

Can't get primers either. Those have been hoarded too, brother.

On a serious note either SD has a SERIOUS hoarding problem or is in a severe drought. Is it like this everywhere else?

On a side note i just ponied up and paid 130 for 500 rounds of freedom munitions reloads shipped. Things are getting dire...

Order online or do a back order. There's still ammo at reasonable prices.
