he heard they may stop selling ammo. I live in Modesto and our store has a
pretty well stocked ammo case, at least we did.

        Thanks John
From the time's I visit walmart for ammo they seem pretty anti-gun, But the one in Pico Rivera (Closest to me) hasn't said anything... I just wish I knew they couldn't sell ammo past 10pm LOL.

There wasn't much ammo at my local Walmart. The prices weren't that great anyway.

There's been a run on ammo. Pretty much every place is running low.

Speaking of.... Any of you guys have experience with Tulammo? All they had left was a few boxes of some Tulammo in .40, so I bought a couple boxes.

Runs dirty and a little underpowered in my experience.

Guy at WM in Foothill Ranch hasn't heard about no more ammo at the store. They can hardly keep it in stock it sells so fast. I can attest to that since I bought the entire shipment of 22lr they got in this morning..

Coming straight from the horse's mouth (my brother works for Walmart corporate, and his wife is a store manager at the Roseville store).

Neither has heard of any changes in the sale of ammo for 2013 in CA Walmart stores. He told me he would let me know if there were any changes, but as of right now nothing.

I know for a fact that all stores had a ammo-ordering block placed on them due to supply for a few weeks.

I doubt they will stop selling ammo in CA. But some stores already don't sell ammo.

That said, the ammo stock at Wal-Mart is really hit or miss. Their ammo deliveries appear to be random.

Sometimes they have the shelves overflowing, but by the next day they'll be empty again, and stay that way for weeks or even months. Or at least at my local wally world. Example would be anything .22LR, my local store has been sold out on a consistent basis for most of 2012.

Their prices are generally outstanding and generally the best in town in my area.

I was at Mt. View store yesterday, the 9 and 45 shelves were almost clean,
They have not had any good price 223 in a while, but they had a couple boxes of the 45gr 223 for 11.97. So if you want 12ga or 22 they have some, but that's about it.

I'm going to eddy's for some later today, hope they wont get cleaned out before I arrive.
