Hello all

Has anyone heard walmart may stop selling ammo in cal?
The glass case at my local wm was broken and the mothership has denied
repairing it 3 times. so theres no ammo on the shelf. sporting goods guy says.
he heard they may stop selling ammo. I live in Modesto and our store has a
pretty well stocked ammo case, at least we did.

There could be something too this. I was just at my local W-M and their ammo cabinet was pretty lean in most types except shotgun stuff. When I was there a week or two ago for some Winchester 9mm they only had a few boxes left, and today there was none. I sure hope they don't cave into the politics around all of this stuff.

wally mart in San Marcos was running pretty dry this weekend...had to get my 12 gauge and .45 ammo at the one in Temecula even that one was 'running low' (in my opinion).
i doubt they'll stop, but at the same time i also wouldnt be surprised....

No indication of that in my area... I'd call it Walmart employee FUD until we see something more substantial. If that happens, I won't have any reason at all to go into a Walmart... I can sit at home and look at People of Walmart any time.

Palm Desert Walmart had its glass broken as well. I can't blame the person they take damn forever to notice you wanting ammo.

It took weeks to repair but they still sold ammo from the back you had to ask. They just seem to restock when entire shelf is empty. It's a big deal to receive ammo so they don't send it often. Just when I think it's dead there'll be an entire pallet of ammo being shelved by a small lady who can't speak English.

Cathedral City one is the same. They sell way too much ammo to stop.
