Sounds pretty easy to me. Just lower the side of your ejection port and install an Apex Tactical extractor.

i just swapped a Gen 2 upper on my G3 G19 and i have yet to get brass to my face...although admittedly it was only 1 or 2 every 100

I have had the same issue with a Gen 3 before. I don't see why people blame it on the Gen 4. The casing actually made my forehead bleed. I was shooting a loaner gun at Target Masters... 115 gr sellier and bellot.

Your other option is to wait for Glock to acknowledge the real solution and implement the fix

All generations of Glock do that. They feed everything because their chambers are on the dangerously-over-sized side which is why the 'Glock bulge'. I was a big fan of Glock since 1989 for about 5 years when I noticed all Glocks I sold, owned do that. And one blew up in my hands way before people complain about it.

I still think the design is cool but just because they say it's 'perfect' doesn't make it so. Glock pistols as a whole are easy to love but next to impossible to justify.
