It uses the same rotating barrel mechanics found in the full size. I also like the fact that in addition to the ambidextrous safety, it is one of the very few SAs that incorporates an ambidextrous slide release. Also, Beretta offers a 10 round mag that fits this model. Throw in the grip assortment and you have a really flexible piece of hardware.

+1. Someone was telling me that I would need to keep it single shot, and that it would be illegal to use even 10 rd blocked mags. This is incorrect, am I right?
