The OP makes it sound as though this is a sale that Glock promotes itself, not just random outlets (like Turner's, which we don't have up here). I've never heard of GOG... is it cheaper to use than Gunbroker since there is no additional transfer fee?
No transfer fee...that's just crazy talk!

I'm also thinking about trying out a glock.
I've never fired one before and also want to test drive a few rentals.
The only downside is buying the mandated expensive range ammo at said test drive.

Riflegear has at least one, and their price is reasonable.

I think the better deal is the m9a1 for $625!

Ammo Brothers always goof on the pictures in their ads. The M9A1 has the light rail. $625 is a good price. Davidson's Gallery of Guns doesn't have the M9A1 with the 10 Rounders in stock. There are a some 92FS Italy and USA models w/ 10 round mags for an average of under $600 depending on the FFL you choose.

Cheapest Glock 26 from Davidson's GOG not too far from me is $577 OTD.

GOG has a glock 22 with night sights in the weekly special and a few models on "sale". Though safer arms in chico still wants 50 over msrp and around 130 bucks more than the pawn shop around the corner from me.

Are we supposed to do the compulsory Glocktober photo post?

Up here about $499-575 for the 9mm and .40's depending on where you shop. Everything else is a bit more.

I paid $479 for my 17 last year. But I have not seen that sale again.

Turner's has the Glocktober sale starting tomorrow (Oct 5 - 11).

The hat is whatever, but the range bag is a nice freebie.

Turners prices looks to be Glock's MAP (minimum advertised price), so looks good to go with the free gear makes this the best time to buy a Glock (excluding blue label and GSSF).

Lol. I purchased my first handgun -- Glock 19 -- from Turner's a few years ago during a non-sales event. I paid something ridiculous like $750 OTD, maybe even $800... I was really mad I did not know about Calguns or Ammo Bros after I realized I had my manhood taken by some overweight slob Turner's WC employee. Damn, I was an idiot.

Interesting. A few places advertise under MAP here, whereas CA's antitrust laws prohibit resale price maintenance - figure they could get away with it.

I think it's more of an adverting agreement, rather than price fixing. Stores can sell them for a buck if they want to.
That's why on some Turners ad, it state too low to advertise sometimes.

I dunno, my guess is it de-values their product if a new item sells for way below msrp.

Haven't seen a chain store ad go under those prices since ~2010, think that was when Glock threw the smack down.

If the price is the same at a LGS or online, then you still have to pay CA sales tax and DROS fees for the gun regardless. However, buying online you'll also have to pay some type of transfer fee as well. Factor that in and you may be paying $50-$75 MORE, and definitely not cheaper... especially now that the CA BOE has come down hard on CA FFL's on collecting CA sales tax on 'new' firearms purchased from another vendor/store.

IIRC, Turner's usually has the Glock 9mm and .40 pistols for around $519 when on sale. There are some places like Ammo Bros often that sell them for $499 but no Glock goodies, so that may be another option to look into.
Depends on the local store. I've found my FFL is listed on GoG, and the "get a quote" price is usually lower than I can get it locally. The dealers listed on GOG use it as a storefront. Since they make money off the firearm now, the fees are less. Turners at $500 is hard to beat though, because they are price+sales tax+dros tax. But after all is said and done it is still just a Glock.
