Which handgun should I get next?

My birthday is coming up next month and I wanna get a new handgun. I already narrowed it down to two so it should be easy. First is going to be a RIA 1911 tactical 45 acp.
Second option will be a cz 75b sp-01 in 9mm.

I've checked couple stores around the bay area, mainly in San bruno to mountain view, but no one has either instock. So which handgun should I get and anyone know hich LGS has them instock?

Edit: I decided on getting the sp-01 since my girlfriend just told me she wanted to start shooting. So I think 9mm would be great for that. Alright anyone know who has it instock?

I'm not sure who has them in stock but my vote is for the 1911!!!

I would take the CZ over the RIA. Not a big fan of the Rock Islands.

I say the RIA Tactical! Its the best banf for the buck!
I just PPT'd one few days ago, cant wait to pick it up.
Im located in San Bruno also, I shop between Tabors and City Arms in Pacifica.
City Arms always have a supply of RIA's in the case. I cant recall if Ive seen the Tactical though.

What guns do you already have?

Ria 1911s are great guns for the price. But the cz will be a better gun.

If you haven't done so yet you could use the money to take a pistol course instead... just food for thought.

Do you already own other firearms in 9mm or .45? Pick the one that your other guns are chambered in. Unless money isn't an issue for you.

If money is no issue, go RIA 1911.

Try Target Masters in Milpitas if you want to rent an SP-01 before you decide. I know they also sell RIA's but not sure if they rent any of them out. But if I had to decide, it'd be the SP 01 all day, any day.

get an sp-01. I have one and it is my favorite pistol (sorry kimber custom II, I still love you).

If you can't get an sp01 then just get a cz75. it shoots about the same and the ergonomics are about the same too

Sounds like you need a 45ACP to me.

                            RIA is a solid choice.

I'll eventually own both guns but just want to know which to get first. I have ammo for both already so not really an issue. The sp-01 will cost more upfront but ammo will be cheaper. RIA will be cheaper upfront but ammo is more expensive. Might come down to which one I locate first......
