I got to shoot the new xds today and I must say was very impressed. I was able to hit really well with it. I liked it better than the Shield and worth the extra 150 bucks.

Keep in mind I'm an XD fanboy, and I did like the shield a lot.

The recoil was much more manageable than I thought it would be.

700? It retails for 599 and the 7rd magazine is around 35 bucks. Maybe. 700 out the door. That's if you pay full retail.

Oh gotcha, I'm unfamiliar with that company. I'd agree for another 100 bucks it may be worth looking around. If probably go with the shield for 450, I think it's on the list now.

For sure. Funny thing is, I wasn't even looking for one.

Asked for an XD45 compact. Said nope, but we have an XDS in stock. I replied "sold!".

Think he was shocked, I was in & out in 20 minutes.
