So you are one member who can actually say they used a firearm for home defense!

I mean if the bg leaves just from the sound of the slide that is a good thing. I mean, if I have to pull the trigger with #1 buck loaded up, I am going to have to replace carpet, maybe patch a wall, paint, perhaps replace furniture. That is a lot of work for an old guy! On the other hand, said intruder will not be going into anyone else's residence for a long time, if ever.

That's a great choice, considering the first round fired will blind, deafen, and disorient the shoooter when it is discharged inside a dark house and with no hearing protection on.
