Found on the 10-8 Performance site:

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT GLOCK SIGHTS:
Factory Glocks tend to shoot anywhere from 2-4" high at 25 yards, usually necessitating the use of a 6 o'clock hold when shooting bullseye and other small targets.* Keep in mind that if you lined up 20 Glocks, all of the same model and caliber, not every single one would shoot to the same point of impact with a given set of sights.* Glock makes a number of different height rear sights to accommodate the inherent variations in points of impact.* With this in mind, an aftermarket front/rear set with a standardized height for all models - such as the one we've been selling for a few years now - can only provide an approximate elevation setting for any particular gun.

Glocks shoot to point of aim, this guy is too new to know that. Ideally, a 40 yard zero is what you want, but he needs to start at 3 yards, and work out, to know that.

I shot high and left on my G17 Gen 4 initially and finally got consistent groups after several hundred rounds but was still high about 2" at 10 yards. Changed to adjustable sights and now it's point of aim.

This really helped me figure out possibilities of why I was shooting low left... Maybe it will assist your issue?

I agree 100% and without your basic fundamentals, It doesn't matter what you shoot.

              Thanks that some good info.

              Also thanks survivor619 helpful diagram.

The reason I was testing at 35 yards was test the gun out since it was a new gun to me. I also shot at 7 yards and it was still high but like I said we didnt measure or sandbag test I just wanted to see if anybody else had the general same problem with their guns, and yes a experienced shooter shot it as well and it shot high for him at both 7 yards as well as 35 yards. We were shooting steel targets at 35 yards so this was nothing scientific guys just a general problem we were having. It was easily compensated by aiming a little low no big deal.

Still I would want my sights to match the poi perfectly.. I would just continue putting more ammo thru it and see if you and the glock eventually figure eachother out

Honestly. Most my glocks took a break in period of about 2-300 rounds before they started going exactly where i wanted them too. This could be the gun getting broken in, or myself figuring out the gun.

They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

Just an FYI: We were shooting steel silhouettes at Angeles Shooting Range. They start at 35 yds., then go to 50 yds., 60 yds., and 100 yds. I can ring the 12" 100 yd. plate with my G17 (stock barrel) and reloads with over 75% accuracy. "Combat accurate" my @$$. Get some practice.

Don't recall the sight set-up on your pistol, Big K. How did it shoot today?

That diagram is for a right hand only Bullseye shooter.

This is how to grip a pistol with 2 hands

I currently have 9 Glocks, all of them shoot to point of aim, as did the other 20 or so I have owned. I put aftermarket fixed sights on the G34 and G17L. I've got a few leftover OEM adjustables if anybody wants them, free.
