Any CZ-75 variant with a trigger job and the FNP-9 which is very good stock.
Using C Products 10 round magazines in my AR-15...just to be "safe"...

      +1 on the Sig P226 OR SP2022.

I have one of each and love them both, although the 226 does feel more solid.

If you can find one try an fnp, or if you're around LA area hit me up. FNP has the best out of the box sa that I've found. Although my current favorite to shoot is an m&p.

Here's picture of my 75b with a comp hammer, extended firing pin, and 13lb main spring. The break is clean and smooth!

I should have mentioned that I'm picky but cheap. The 92FS is about the top of the price range I could stomach. P226 would only be tolerable in the CPO state or used. I've had a chance to dry fire most of the contenders, and the SA of the P226 certainly is nice, but the price may edge it out.

The 2022 is looking pretty good! A little on the short side, maybe. Unfortunately, the rental range near me does not have one, unless their website is out of date. Dry firing, the SA seems quite nice, and the DA was acceptable (and DA would only be a tie-breaker if I liked everything else equally for two models).

DA of one of the P226 I saw was absolutely buttery, but the other didn't knock me out as much. 92FS DA was not as nice as either SIG, but the SA seems good, even with the stock spring. I do like the longer barrel of the 92.

Haven't fondled a CZ yet, except the 82, but the rental range has a 75b, so in a week or two I'll get over there and put a few mags through all of these.

Another vote for the CZ SP-01.

IMO, which gun has the best trigger for the money out of the box, during both DA and SA, is the Sig 2022.

Well, I'm with the pro CZ crowd. I have a strong unlike for sigs, and don't know why anyone would choose one over a CZ.

I don't think they are bad guns. They have a great track record and they don have a strong fan base for nothing. I just never liked the ergonomics, control placement, high bore axis, or triggers.

SA, CZ stock wins. I even like DA/SA CZ's that I've shot, but even most CZ people I talk to agree that the DA/SA only models dont compare to a DA/SA sig. CZ makes a very decent and affordable (cheaper than Sig) pistol. The ergo's on both of them are very different, some people cant adjust to the slide lock on the Sig.

If this was SA only, I'd agree though, CZ takes the win.

Ben Stoeger is the reigning Production National Champion, and he won using a DA/SA Beretta that was very close to stock.

So is this more a comment on the indian and not the arrow? Or in this case, the bow?
