I was wondering if other G19 owners might recommend any accoutrements that have enhanced their Perfection experience.
What do you think of the trigger? I have two G19s - one stock and one with the Ghost Rocket kit. I enjoy shooting the latter much more

If it's an HD gun, a TLR-1 is also a great option.

5,000 rounds in one setting is too much. 400-500 rounds per weekend for 2 matches is about my speed.

don;'t mess with it until you put a few hundred rounds though the glock. got get to know what you like and don't like and then you can start making changes. IMHO.

you should take the Glock to Class and Shooting ranges!!
If you think its your baby, like my girls.. I feel its always more rewarding to take them out on vacation and spend quality time with them then just keep buying them toys

Some classes I take are 500-600 rounds per day.

But tonight I shot a whopping 100 freaking rounds

The pollen is killing my eyes/contacts today and I didn't have my prescription glasses with me so I cut it short and dropped the slide back off at Wild Bill's to have the sights installed.

I had an estimated 6 cases hit me in the head or face! I will shoot it again with the remaining ammo this weekend or next week and depending how it does, it may be packed away until Apex sends me a T&E kit.

Thanks everyone for weighing in. Based on the feedback, I think I'll invest in a holster, extra mags and probably a trigger fix (the pull felt a bit heavy when I dry-fired it in the store)-- AND a training course (great idea, thanks TC!...is firing a Glock different from other handguns?).

stainless steel guide rod. i like sand grip tape (some say its to sticky but I love them). dawson precision sights. start with an super trigger polish. i got mine to 4.2lbs very nice. then you can to to ghost if you still want more. the world is the limit with tricking out a glock. lots and lots of ammo your going to need it.

my gen4 19 has been flawless through 2k rounds.

Get a 3.5 lb connector and 25 cent trigger job if you want.. they're fine stock.. the only thing you really need is lots and lots of ammo.

Yes, shoot it stock then see if you need anything on it. I'd change the sights, that's about it. You can try a piece of innertube for a cheap wraparound grip. I prefer Glocks stock but that's me.
