    Glock Bells & Whistles?

In just a few more days, I'll be bringing home my beautiful 1 lb. 7.5 oz. Glock 19 and I haven't got the words. Now I'm setting my sights on acquiring all the fun accessories to go with it (yes, I thought of ammo already). I was wondering if other G19 owners might recommend any accoutrements that have enhanced their Perfection experience.

I really like houge grip slips. Besides that I don't mess with it. Trigger jobs are great too.

Get some extra magazines for the range and pick up a Maglula upLULA. You will enjoy being able to shoot longer with ready access mags and faster reloading with the upLULA.

Hogue slip on grip or Talon grips, 3.5 trigger connector, holster, Maglula uplula mag loader, light, night sights.... just go to Glock store and check out all the Glock aftermarket stuff

Swap out the plastic sights for some steel. My kydex holster chewed up the front sight in less than 5 minutes.

Just leave it alone and shoot it. Then figure out what you need to make it fit YOU.

I go with a lighter trigger connector on all my Glocks. Pretty cheap and easy mod. For a primary HD gun I would add night sights and a light. I'm a fan of Glocks, but not their box sights.

Every day it's a post about what accessories people should buy for their brand new gun. I get that it's fun to mod stuff and accesorize them like Barbie dolls, but over the years and through various hobbies, I've learned that the stock form is usually the best and most reliable, and least finicky.

Buy mags and an uplula, and after you've given it a good go, you'll start to seen what if anything you want to change.

That and extended slide, and mag releases from the factory is all i do to mine.

If it's made 2010 or sooner, you may need to look into Apex Tactical's extractor kit(coming soon) if the extraction/ejection is inconsistent.
