    The Scorpion Is Here

Well after about a month and a half wait I have officially become a 1911 fanboy! I've debated and debated getting a 1911, and finally chose the Sig Scorpion from the boys at Islandview Enterprises in Ventura! Haven't brought her to the range yet so no report on it yet. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I do. Enjoy.

Looks nice, did you add the VZ grips or do they come with it?

My only other thought is that the extractor should be tan as well it really stands out being black. I prefer internal extractors on 1911's but external is not a deal breaker for me.

The grips come stock with it. They are a very aggressive, no-slip texture. I really like them and am not planning on changing them.

It is legal for you to own and buy in CA.

It is not on the Roster so to buy it you must be exempt or the gun must be in an exempt form.

Very cool. I wonder if you can get the TLR coated to match the gun..?

Sexy gun. Curious to hear what you think about the flat trigger after shooting it. I have never shot one like that. Always had standard curved triggers.

Yes... a spanking new 1911. No excuses to miss with that peace. Congrats and enjoy.
