Any gun that is off roster just makes me mad, but when it is fir things like color and grip screws it gives me explosive diarrea
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

It is not about the GUN it is about the RIGHT

Gun control has its roots in RACISM and CLASSISM, if you support gun control you support those two evils

Been there, done that with a RIA 38 Super (it was the wrong color)!
A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!

My house; like the White House, is NOT a gun free zone!

DO they still have the separate approvals by the color of the gun. They used to have separate listing of black and the od/tan Glocks. The color of the polymer made a difference in safety per the State of California. Also custom engraving makes the guns unsafe. That is why you don't see commemorative guns sold in CA anymore.

would making an under gound network of out of state people to do ppt render the roster useless? just wondering.

A PPT is a face to face private party transfer between two CA residents facilitated by a CA FFL dealer.

Since, out-of-state people are not CA residents, they can not do a PPT and any handguns they import into the state to transfer to a CA resident needs to be on the CA DOJ Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale or be exempt from it.

It's just a natural instinct in all of us, when we're told that we can not have this or that, told don't do this or that.....well we're drawn to doing, or having, these things like a moth to a flame.
                        Hey dg29,
I had to get back to work and missed your comment. What does buying one "online" locally mean? Thanks.

My tale of woe is even worse than you realize. I had a very nice P-6, we were beginning to become BFF's when I had to sell it. I went over a pothole in America's Finest City the size of the Grand Canyon. I saw other cars swerving but I left my cat-like reflexes at home that day! The repair bill was $600.

I do miss that pistol very much and like an old girlfriend, I want to call the new owner every Saturday night after I had a few beers to beg him to get my ex-back.

Oh well. What's the difference between stalking and following someone everywhere they go? A restraining order!

                        Cheers.

ps. I am not the moth, I'm the flame baby!

I know it's just language but it perpetuates a myth and we don't need anymore of those floating around out there...

                          NOT ILLEGAL. OFF ROSTER.
Why did it take so log for someone to mention this? the firearms in question are 100% LEGAL to own in Ca!!!!!!

There are plenty more guns out there that aren't on the list because of finish, but others are.

                          Frustrating isn't it?
It's more frustrating to have to explain to you that your example is way off. You listed three different guns with different mechanical workings. Your example is a prime example of why each exact make and model gets tested. Have you ever field stripped an Ultra, Pro and Full sized model? Your example would have been much better if you used three different versions of the same model instead of three different models with the same finish.

Would setting up a bunch of out of state people to illegally run guns into Ca and buy and sell them without a license be a good thing? While it sounds like a big bust, if we can get Eric Holder to run it, it just might work.

Yeah, I saw that but the ultralite .44 is the one I want for multiday backpack hunting during archery season. (Yes, it is legal to carry a sidearm in the states I will be elk hunting in)

Looks like the 329PD is my sole option. Thanks gents.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

The next three years will tell the story. watch them try to pay for all the programs they have in place that control things. Watch what happens when all those teachers that taught the socialist talk and now are in the line for a state unemplyment check and then the reality of the stupidity they followed will set in.

When it is not the simple gun owners they are hurting but the party line people things will start to unravel.

Take a good look at Detroit that is what will happen when the people that pay the bills move out leaving the leaches to kill the host they survive on.

We will prove there is life after death when when we rebuild a free California from the ruins.

Just a prediction from an old guy that knows change takes time.
