We need to get the 10 round magazine restriction and the roster taken down by St. Benitez. Having a 10 round restricted 2011 is like having a v8 M car in 4 cylinder limp mode. It's attractive but doesn't make sense. Trust me...I've thought and rethought about ponying up big dough for a Stacatto, and then shooting 10 rounders through...it's like "why?" when I got great 10 round 1911 options in the stable already.

Coming to “The Roster”?

New York has mag restrictions but nothing about LCI, Mainspring Disconnect, or Microstamping. California does. As long as we have Microstamping and Mainspring Disconnect, no new 1911 will make the roster. Para found a simple way around the LCI by putting a notch in the barrel hood.
The microstamping requirement is currently enjoined, and that is why several pistols have been added relatively recently. Sig (320/M18, 365), and now some Kimber1911 have been added to the roster along with other pistols.Last edited by eaglemike; 07-09-2024, 12:36 AM.There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.
It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?👍 1Comment

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

It's actually "magazine disconnect(er)" not "mainspring disconnect" - as in when the magazine is removed, the action is unable to fire.

looooong time, and shows no sign of going away soon, a circumstance created in part by the appellate industry, the 9th circus, the CA DOJ, and The Eunuchs of SCOTUS. The California legislature is like a gardner; they plant the invasive weed, and the other three keep watering, fertilizing, pruning, and caring for it. It eventually becomes so intrenched and ingrained, that residents are used to, and accept it. Not until decades later when the property is sold, does a radical change happen, such as a bulldozer clearing the land. Question is, are we any closer to that either?
My point was that a roster requirement above was described as a mainspring disconnect, which it isn't. It's a disconnect actuated by removing the magazine (or inserting the magazine to enable the fire control system to function properly). Many pistols that are grandfathered don't have this feature. Many of the older 1911 style, all the Glock gen 3 stuff, etc. (I'm sure you know all this stuff too) Thus usually referred to as a magazine disconnector. (at least IIRC - I am on the verge of old. Or so I hope)There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

Same here.
The features of the SD9 2.0 seemed nice too:- Flat-face Trigger - a new flat-face Self Defense Trigger (SDT) offers a smoother take-up, crisp break, and audible reset. The flat design offers more consistency for shooters.
- Aggressive Slide Serrations - more slide serration coverage to aid in manipulations.
- MSRP $349 (released Dec 2023) vs. $400
Only SDVE series in 9mm available (with or without hi-viz or night sights?) is the model with the SKU 11907 but yet they have 3 other SDVE models chambered in .40 ?

The roster got updated with a new manufacture on the manufacture drop down named "Rost Martin"
This normally means they are about to add a gun from Rost Martin.
The only gun they seem to sell is the RM1C,

Perhaps something screwy is going on with the govnor.Last edited by Reno-Kid; 09-12-2024, 3:26 PM.Comment

Wonder if they are going to try and add the caniks. They will need a mag disconnect safety though but east is there with trigger safety and loaded chamber indicator.
the tp9 series are good guns and the triggers are very good out of box. I bought one here in az last year and been very impressed with it. Not bad for a 375 dollar pistol.Comment

It's possible they tried to put it on , but then backed off and ended the process. Maybe the same will happen with Century Arms. They might find out that 3 for 1 is active and that's what scares them off.Comment
