    Kimber 1911

Despite all the horror stories I've read about Kimber's mine has treated me well and has been running like a champ from the beginning. Anyway, I thought I'd share a picture I took a few weeks ago. Looking to add a Sig Sauer Scorpion to the collection here pretty soon.

My Kimber works perfectly. It's very accurate too. I shoot steel cased and there are no issues. Haven't even broken it in yet too!

Congrats on your Kimber purchase. I like and prefer Kimbers. I grade my two Kimbers at AAA because they are both reliable, superb in fit, finish, and function.

Don't listen to the nay-sayers. Im a kimber and springfield fan. There are haters of each but mostly they are made up of people who have either A)never owned one, or B) just parroting information they read on a forum.

My brothers Kimber had 4 failure to feeds the 1st 100 rounds...But after a while it didn't have that problem..I think it was just a break in issue since the kimber is built really tight...Love the Kimber...Out of the 1911's i shoot for some reason the Kimber is bit more accurate compared to the Colt XSE...This is shooting with a 4inch barrel Kimber vs a 5inch barrel Colt XSE...I need to get me one of these bad boys...

Or C. Have owned several with initial problems requiring return to Kimber and have worked on and fixed several others belonging to friends.

Kimber CAN build a great gun, and many times they do. I just wish they'd spend less on advertising and more on quality assurance.

Not sure what kind of problems you have been reading, but I have the original "Classic" Kimber and it runs perfectly flawless.
