Cool beans! I just picked up my G17 yesterday. I was going to DROS a G26 next, but now I'm thinking aboug going with the G34 next and get the baby glock later. I was checking out the Glock 34 at the store, and it's starting to grow on me... not sure why, I didn't really like it at first.

Get them all! That's what I'm working on. Got a Gen 4 g34 and love it, it's the one I shoot the most. Just picked up a g4 g19 as well. Next is the 17 then the 26. Haha. And I started as an Xd guy!

As with the gun, using the car analogy, it will take thousands of rounds to break even. Might as well take 600 bucks you were thinking on spending for a new g17/34 and buy 2000 plus rounds of ammo for you 21. But if you want another glock for *****s and giggles then gi for it. I am. Got a line on a brand new g34 gen 3 for 500 buck b4 tax and dros
Actually I like having a seperate .22, it makes it nice to bring to the range when you are shooting with other people (ie; newbies). I also like to get trigger time with a .22 just because ... well, shooting is shooting!

I like to start a range session with the .22 just to acclimate myself to the sound, I THINK that it helps me with flinching when the .45 comes out.

            I have a 19, a 17 and a 34. The 34 is my favorite though.

I was in the same boat a while back and posed the same question here: G19, 17 or 34? I figured I could only afford one. Had the three of them laid out at the store one Saturday morning. Picked them up and set them down for an hour - to the point all three grips were warm. Decided on the 34. Freaking great gun. Accurate. Put 800 rds (124 gr Lawman) through it at a class with not a single glitch. Takes a while to get used to the slack in the trigger.
