    Recommend a CCW holster?

Hey guys, I'm buying a Glock 26 for conceal carry....any recommendations on a comfortable, subtle holster? IWB or OWB recommendations both welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

      +1 ^^

For now you can get a Galco Walkabout while you wait. Its very economical and I like it because I always have an extra mag. When I am traveling in my truck for a while or need to leave my gun in the truck for some reason, I take my 26 out of my Raven and put it in my Galco in the pocket behind the seat. The Walkabout is what I always used before discovering Raven. Now I wear the Raven ACR with a spare mag on my left side and keep the Galco w/an additional spare mag in the truck. Raven makes a fantastic product but they're expensive and it takes a while to take delivery...but worth the wait.

Check out Crossbreed, I have 4 holsters from them, and love them. Great IWB tuckable holsters.

Anything leather is worthless for IWB. It's too thick which makes printing inevitable.

I tried a friend's holster made by Fist. It's a K7 with the J-Hook. They are made from ultra thin kydex. This was with a G19 and it was very comfortable, good retention, and didn't print because it was so thin.

Anyone else use a Fist holster?

i know a lot of people won't like it here, but give Remora holsters some consideration. It's not for everybody, but it is the most 'minimal' way to go. No clips. No straps. Just a small holster made out of very soft, basketball feeling material that is super grippy. It can just go in your waist band and it does NOT move!!

Tommy Theis Holsters for IWB. Check him out on glock forum. For OWB I use a Galco FED Paddle. Kind of expensive, but it's very nice leather, easy to put on or off and has a thumb snap for retention. Very comfortable and adjustable cant as well.

Comp-Tac or CrossBreed gets my vote.

After wearing an inexpensive Don Hume OWB holster for a few weeks with my G26, I decided that OWB provided essentially the same concealability as IWB for this gun, but was much more comfortable. Now I have a few IWB holsters that I can't stand wearing.

I took a chance on a Blade-Tech Partial Eclipse (about $50 from Blade-Tech) and it works fine:

Blade-Tech’s holsters, mag pouches, and gun belts are American made and crafted to the highest standard possible. Check out our products today!

It's not obvious from the description (I thought it used a "tunnel" to run your belt through, but it's actually 2 rectangular widgets on either side of the holster. It's very tough to get a double-thick belt through these because the belt has to flex a bit and I use a Filson double-belt that's the thickest I've ever seen. I ended up using some rubber spacers to push the widgets out from the holster about 1/4" so I could get the belt through more easily. On most gun belts, this probably wouldn't be an issue - my 511 trainer works fine without the spacers.

Anyway - it is what it is - a compact OWB holster that fits the G26 or G19 or G17, conceals well, has adjustable tension and seems to be a keeper

I've tried Desantis, Don Hume, Crossbreed and Comp tac IWB's. I was going to give up IWB carry until my co-worker showed me his Rocketman IWB. I've never heard of them and and after trying his out I had to get one. They are about 60 bucks and the wait is about 2-4 weeks. The most comfortable IWB I have tried because its so thin and the grip angle/muzzle depth is perfect for concealment. The clip is molded as 1 piece with the holster and very strong. I've carried a Glock 26 in one for 2 years and it's still like brand new so they are definitely durable. I currently own 5 of these and it's so great that I just had to write about it here. If your interested its RMHOLSTERS.COM . I'm 6'00 160 pounds so its a bit hard for me to conceal OWB but I ordered a Raven Concealment holster so lets see how that goes.

I like my under arm holster, but it requires you wear a shirt over it, and here in Kommifornistan, it can get pretty toasty some times of the year...
