    Kareen HP35 Clones- CA Legal?

I've been combing around the forums, but haven't found any threads about this particular gun being CA legal or not. Apparently they were made in Israel and imported into the US in the 90's via company in Texas. Anyone know about the legality?

Do you know how to look at the roster on the Internet?

General rule of thumb is anything odd or that hasn't been imported in a long time is not going to be on the list. No way the company will pay and send samples to have it listed.

That being said not being on the list doesn't make a gun illegal per say.
There are lots of ways you could get it.
How about you tell us more about your situation and how you intend to purchase it.

There are ways to make almost any firearm legal in CA. Stick around here and you'll see what I mean.

As far as this gun goes, if it is apready in California, it's legal to buy and sell here. If you want to import one to CA, you either have to be roster exempt or make the gun roster exempt. It's not hard but will involve a little more time trouble and expense.

          You got it right.

This pistol is legal in CA but not on the roster.

          It would need a SSE.

Don't know about the SSE read these.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
